Dolphins are herded into manmade harbors using sonar and loud noises
to interrupt their senses. Fishermen then gaff and hook the dolphins
while they thrash about in the blood of their family members. Helplessly
the dolphin attempt to save their loved ones. In the wild, dolphin
regularly risk their lives to rescue surfers and shipwrecked sailors
from sharks and from drowning. Many dolphin drown in the panic of the
massacre, those that don't, are hoisted out by crane and left flapping
helplessly on the ground. They slit the throats of the dolphin who gasp
and struggle while blood gushes from their neck, their gentle loving
family members watching. The manner and cruelty of the slaughter is so
incredibly inhumane it is astonishing that it still occurs today in a
Nation that proudly counts itself as a First World Nation.
