The massacre is so incredibly baselessly inhumane it must be stopped.
There is no excuse for this behavior.

Act for those who are helpless.  Speak for those who can't.

Dolphins are herded into manmade harbors using sonar and loud noises to interrupt their senses.  Fishermen then gaff and hook the dolphins while they thrash about in the blood of their family members.  Helplessly the dolphin attempt to save their loved ones.  In the wild, dolphin regularly risk their lives to rescue surfers and shipwrecked sailors from sharks and from drowning.  Many dolphin drown in the panic of the bloody massacre, those that don't, are hoisted out by crane and left flapping helplessly on the ground.  With machetes they slit the throats of the dolphin who gasp and struggle while blood gushes from their neck, their gentle loving family members watching.  The manner and cruelty of the slaughter is so incredibly inhumane it is astonishing that it still occurs today in a Nation that proudly counts itself as a First World Nation.

Protest directly to any and all the addresses listed below.
Additionally write to your Senator, Congress person and the Food and Drug Administration and anyone else who may care or have some leverage to stop the massacre. Sanctions against Japan should be called for unless they immediately cease this massacre.  (Not that sanctions against the U.S. should not also be implemented for the U.S. massacre of human lives in the Gulf).   A sample letter to Japanese authorities is included here simply copy and paste the letter into your email or word processor to send a letter.  Code for a Myspace or Facebook Bulletin can be found here: Ai2D Myspace & Facebook Bulletin
